Professional Experience
There on, moved into the oil and gas industry, based overseas in Doha, Qatar. Starting as Site supervisor trainee, since then progressing to project supervision role. Initial project was at Ras Laffan Industrial City as part of the team responsible for construction of the first Helium Plant of its type in the Middle East. Supervision duties increased to being in charge of up to 30 multi-nationals. On completion of the Helium contract, mobilized to Halul Island Oil storage facility elevated to site supervisor for the over see of 120 men again made up of a multi national work force. This project was construction & commissioning of a new seawater pump house, which included four new diesel driven pumps and 4 electric driven pumps for the fire deluge system on the island. This was followed by relocation a processing facility (PS-1) in the Arabian Gulf as Shutdown supervisor leading a team of men to perform all the shutdown and start-up activities for the two main separator vessels on the platform.
Most recently employed as field engineer for the Oman Construction Co in OMAN for a major Oil & Gas company, stationed in desert location.
