Professional Experience
Worked as a member in a team for the engineering and construction of the 2nd production line in the Egyptian Fertilizers Co. (EFC II). This is considered a major expansion with a capacity of 2000 Tons/day Urea and 1200 Tons/day Ammonia.
Engineering Phase
• Studying the instruments' technical data and confirming that it meets the specifications and requirements.
• Qualifying and comparing between different suppliers for the control valves.
• Sizing for Control Valves and Flow elements for ÄP measurements (For example, Orifice plates).
Construction Phase
• Inspection for the shipments related to the instrumentation.
• Installation of the instrument according to P&ID and hook-up drawings.
• Cable testing, meggering and routing on cable trays.
• Wiring the instrument to the DCS according to the loop-wiring diagram.
Commissioning and Mechanical Completion phase
• Calibration for all instruments and control valves.
• Loop checking from the DCS to the field instrument.
Performance Test Phase
• Confirming that the instrument accuracy meets the requirement.
• Confirming that the measurement is satisfactory in different plant loads.
Operation Phase
• Preventive Maintenance and Calibration scheduling for the instruments.
• Ordering of the spare parts to guarantee continuous plant operation.
Eductation
Bachelor of Engineering, Ain Shams University, Electronics and Communication Department.
General Good Grade (70%) & Project Distinction Grade 1997-2002.
Primary, Preparatory and Secondary School, Yehia El Rafie Language School in Cairo.
