TREASURY: -Register & follow up all vendors invoices. -Issuing all banking Cheques & transfers. -Issuing & Follow up letter of guarantee (L/G’s). -Opening & Follow up letter of credit (L/C’s).

My first employment after finishing my University course, was working in CIB bank. This provided me with experience of working in auditing the accounts receivable and accounts payable (A/R, A/P) and output transactions where I achieved success through hard work (sometimes up to 15 hours a day). My efforts were recognised by my General Manager. As a reward for my efforts, I was promoted to a new role within a multinational team of Americans, Indians and Egyptians reengineering the archiving system and implementing a replacement system called T24 (newest global system introduced by Chase Manhattan Bank). T42 was a system which decreased the paperwork , sped up the daiIy transactions and improved the accuracy of the transactions. I was the representative of an audit team that tested that system in Certificates of Deposits and Time of Deposits. The prime objective was to discover if any fraud or mistake could impact the new system.

My Second employment (and current position), is with the North Alamein JV Company (Nalpetco) working on the West Mediterranean deepwater development project . I am currently the responsible employee for handling the incoming invoices and outgoing payments. In 4 months, US$62 million have been processed. I have achieved about $1 million saving by way of strict control of early payments with our vendors; and about $¼million savings by identification of direct or indirect errors within vendor's invoices. I maintain the sense of responsibility to finish my work in or before the required date where business is conducted within procedures and processes developed for deepwater exploration contracts.
