Electrical Engineer –Warranty Services (Palm Jumeirah Villa project):
Establishing and cultivating points-of-contact with contractors/suppliers to expedite repair and/or replacement of defective parts covered by warranty;
Assisting the warranty administrator in writing up warranty repair orders and transmitting to the responsible contractor/suppliers for execution;
Ensuring timely response to the fulfillment of warranty calls by contractors/suppliers;
Assisting the warranty Administrator in invoicing villa occupiers for non-warranty repair and replacement;
Developing and tracking warranty performance metrics established by warranty Administrator;
Scheduling MEP Warranty services with contractor/suppliers;
Analyzing contractors/suppliers decision to repair or replace and authorizing remedy to the benefit of villa occupiers and in compliance with the warranty;
Checking & reviewing shop drawings, material submittals & method of statement submitted by MEP contractors;
Liaising with client departments, customers, suppliers and senior managers;
Complete knowledge of capacity and features about the products that we have procured
Directing, instructing and supervising maintenance technicians and fitters;
Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment;
Writing maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines
Resolutions of Customer Complaint as entered into the Customers’ Complaint Management System or coming via email from all over the Palm Jumeirah.
Planning and scheduling planned and unplanned work;
To promote the improvement of overall reliability, in addition to responding to breakdowns;
Responsible for preparing monthly work progress report.
Verify that quality assurance procedures, schedules of inspection & testing are being implemented.
Ensure the quality of work is maintained at site as per project requirements, specifications, method of statements & design drawing.
Enforce safety rules to ensure maximum protection to life & properties.
