Unit Inspector
Responsibilities include inspection of pressure vessels, process piping, and storage tanks. Duties also included calculating corrosion rates and remaining life for piping and equipment. In addition to these traditional inspection responsibilities my job function also includes updating inspection files, turnaround planning, writing welding & repair procedures, performing risk assessments, and communicating with engineers and planners on upcoming inspection activities. Assigned process units included but were not limited to CFHDT/H˛Plant/SRU/DEA/FGT.
2000-2001 Chicago Bridge & Iron The Woodlands, TX
QA/QC Inspector
Responsibilities included visual inspection of welds and supervision of all welders to ensure code compliance during Turnarounds, Revamps and New Construction. Duties also included ensuring that all piping and pressure vessels being built complied with ASME.
