Project Management
~ Resolves conflicts ascertained above with res/sales/tech
support and customer prior to order acceptance.
~ Conducts internal kick off meetings with all involved
functions as well as suppliers and assure that information needs
of each work group are identified and met.
~ Assures orders especially project orders are entered accurately
within time limit established.
~ Raise purchase orders for buyouts, monitor and expedite
delivery with other factories and external suppliers. Reviews
suppliers’ acknowledgment to ensure order accuracy.
~ Develop/manages the project schedule and conducts regular
project review meetings to assure project progress against
schedule and takes corrective actions when necessary.
~ Serves as the prime customer contact on assigned projects: -
responsible for regular progress reports for customers, sales,
representatives and management; presentation of project
milestones and progress during customer visits ; change orders.
~ Assures contractual scope of work is maintained between
Emerson Process Management and its customers by ensuring
that scope of work does not change without adequate
coordination and compensation.
~ Performs all tasks associated with the proper and timely
administration of the project to meet contractual obligations :-
timely acknowledgment of delivery and proactive updates to
customer on the status of their orders ; expedite and review
Letter of Credits requirements for compliance and resolution to
deviations ; coordinate all orders related activities with
customer inclusive of 3rd party inspection arrangements ;
expedite orders to meet customer requests and achievement of
Emerson Process Management service level goals ; coordinate
inspection and drop shipments from producing factories to
destinations specified on order ; expedite and monitors
documentation submission and prepares Certificates of *
Eductation
Highest Qualification:
Bachelor of Science in (BSc) International Trade & Business (University
of Canterbury), Diploma in Freight Forwarding (SFFA), G.C.E ‘O’level
Additional Information
*Certificates of
Conformance/Origins ; prepare sales invoice, delivery order and
/or packing list for shipment ; liaise with forwarders in
arranging and booking space for both air and sea shipments ;
process complete set of documentation for LC negotiation and
liaise with bankers in the negotiation of bills ; process banker’s
guarantee for warranty and/or retention order.
~ Acts as a liaison to assure timely and efficient administration
of orders :- provides a highly responsive service oriented
interface for the customer and field sales ; resolves matters
pertaining to order administration, completion and post order
activities with in-house groups, res/sales offices, factories,
suppliers and customers ; assures that the impact of change
orders are appropriately communicated and executed both
internally and externally.
~ Responsible for post-project review.
~~ Submission of commission calculation upon shipment of
project to ensure correct commission payment to reps.
~ On time submission of strategic funds to Finance as required
by orders which are eligible for such claims.
~ Participates in continuous improvement activities.
~ Submit monthly shipment expecteds and assures that such
expecteds are achieved or exceeded.
~ Generate reports and perform analysis for Management
including dashboard, finished goods expected, backlogs.
~ Provide training and work direction for CSAs/CSRs/team
members
