Member of the Project management Team handling a SR20 Billion project building a university and involved specifically in the Procurement Team. Major task to monitor procurement done by the Contractors LSTK for correct deliveries, timely as per schedule , documentation, payment process, logistic and coordination. Answerable directly to Senior Project Engineers.
Reporting and assisting 4 Aramcos Senior Project Engineers and a Material Specialist handling the universitys Central Utility Plant and and Network Distribution (Roads & Utilities).
Establishment of Procurement Schedule which provide extensive references for the Project Management Team.
Monitoring/Tracking the compilation of Spareparts Data Packages as well as Tag numbering of materials.
Processing Logistic Documents and Contractors Purchase Orders for payment purposes.
Coordinating with Project Schedulers to ensure procurement done as per ENGINEERING PROCUREMENT AND CONSTRUCTION Schedule.
Preparing reports, memos etc on any issue on procurement that needs to be addressed on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Field work involving material arrival inspection, tag numbering, warehouse/laydown inspection etc. Ensuring materials arrived at site are well accounted for.
Ensuring procurement is done in full compliance as per the Contract with the contractors and sub-contractors.
Ensuring all materials and procedures as per ARAMCO Standards.
Coordinating local and overseas Material Inspection Schedules and Inspection Documentation (Inspection Assigment Packages, Inspection Schedule and Disposition Report) of materials procured.
Attending and participating in weekly Procurement Meeting.
Training for the contractors to ensure that they are in full compliance to the requirement of Aramco in terms of procurement.
Tracking and monitoring of Equipment Warranties.
