Establishing and maintaining site safety procedures and practices. Proactive in developing and maintaining safety culture and compliance with client procedures.

General site construction management including:-
Developing and implementing strategy to improve construction delivery performance.
Control of construction schedule with particular attention to discipline interfaces and progress measurement.
Co-ordination and control of tankage, mechanical & electrical sub-contractors including liaison with joint venture civil/building labour and sub-contractors to ensure that appropriate installation and testing activities are carried out and documented, in compliance with company and client quality procedures.
Liaison with client on construction and daily site domestic matters.
Establishing site working area, procedures and general activities of site in accordance with Client/Company specifications/standards and current legislation.
Strict control of construction costs and variations in conjunction with commercial department.
Managing the cost center budget, delivering the construction element of the project safely, to schedule and within budget.
Working with project and site manager to improve project planning.
The selection and co-ordination of contractors, the management of risk and opportunity and project logistics.
Supporting procurement in the order capture process.
Management of all construction staff.

Duties included the resolution of any Design Queries, Progress management, Materials control, Cost control and Quality control. Training of the local companies in project management, forward planning and work sequence techniques.
