Professional Experience
I am a Process Engineer with over than seventeen years of experience in oil and gas industry and water treatment including current assignment on offshore installation operations support, most recent oil and gas terminal design projects, commissioning group support, treatment works and pumping stations rehabilitation, pipeline construction and offshore drilling platform fabrication.
A substantial working experience allows me to have deep understanding of all aspects of work within modern oil and gas industry starting from theoretical and scientific issues and back to practice as process design and operations. As a Process Engineer I am responsible not only for plant proper design and good practice in operation but first of all it is all about Safety of people, no damage to the Environment and safe operation of plant.
Strong technical background and expertise along with excellent communication skills which based on work experience in transnational oil and gas engineering/design and operational companies makes me competent, reliable and hard working individual. Current role and responsibilities:
BP Azerbaijan - Azeri Asset Operations –
• Assignment on ACG (Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli) offshore operations (Caspian Sea region) – Overall duties include offshore installations operational activity support; investigations, study and analysis of any operational faults and upsets, assessment of potential risks and hazards, design improvement and modifications, process optimisation, modelling by HYSYS, PIPESIM etc. Work with PRISM (Production Reporting and Information Systems Management) – life offshore platform system. Raising/responding to EQ (Engineering Query) and MOC (Management of Change), participation in HAZOPs, HAZIDs, LOPA, Risk Assessment study etc. Start up, Operating, Maintenance procedures review and approvals.
• SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for Water Injection system – identification of work scope, prioritization, planning/scheduling, leading communication between teams and disciplines involved. Responsible for WI system reliability and availability to meet WI demand for maintaining reservoir pressure.
• Supervision under junior engineers.
