Identifying training and development needs, through job analysis, appraisal schemes, legislation and consultation with Rig Managers.
Ensuring that the statutory, company and client specific training requirements for met.
Ensuring hazards and risks associated with new equipment or practice are assessed and that effective control measures are implemented to minimize any potential harmful situation.
Reviewing and maintaining an up-to-date understanding of legislation, approved codes of practice, interface with client standards and policies as directed.
Participating and facilitating hazard identification studies and risk assessments as part of work and pre-job assessments.
Conducting Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Pre-Task Safety Meetings.
Arranging Job Safety Analysis and Work Permits as per task to be carried out.
Promoting a Positive and Pro-active approach towards QHSE in the company, and making sure that the HSE Policy is being followed.
Arranging Safety inspections, e.g. lifting gear, vehicles, diesel and water tanks, and hygiene and welfare facilities.
Creating, implementing and reviewing safety observation program to benefit employees and the Organization.

Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum (B.E) from Cromwell College, London.
Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management, from Cromwell College, London.

NEBOSH Occupational Health & Safety Certificate, from Safety Solutions Ltd, London.
