1998 Current: Quality Management Representative & Production Manager, Obegi Chemicals, Egypt.
Responsibilities:
Submitting monthly data on performance parameters and on the performance of the quality system to the Top Management along with proposals to eliminate bottlenecks in operations. .
Directing and monitoring sectional processes and plans to guarantee standard running conditions and process productivity in accordance to yearly-based production plan and schedule.
Liaising with industrial consultants to effect modifications in the layout of production area to optimize the production process.
Conducting weekly and monthly preventive maintenance checks, auditing usage of spare parts and follow ups of automated production equipment and utilities to avoid unscheduled production stoppages.
Auditing usage of raw materials and accordingly placing orders to ensure continual production with minimal idle stock.
Evaluating supplier offers to identify suppliers offering quality materials at budgeted rates.
Enforcing obedience to safety regulations and reviewing safety manuals.
Conducting monthly internal audits for all sections of the company to ensure that the system processes are implemented and maintained in compliance with the ISO 9001 standards requirements.
Ensuring operational readiness of all safety and emergency equipment in the company.
Responsible for quality control spanning the gamut of operations.
Conducting technical audits for suppliers and categorize them into high, medium or low risky ratings.
Provide technical training to sales staff when delivering new product and/or specifications.
