Material Controller / Material Coordinator / Procurement Coordinator

•Directs the physical count and inspection of arriving material and Oversees the preparation of purchase order reviewing documentation including commercial invoices, reviewing packing lists and bills of lading for completeness and accuracy.• Maintains direct working relationship with Field Engineering and Construction and Coordinate about material availability in support of design revisions, rework, contingency or work-around plans.• Monitors the work processes timely and accurate distribution of materials to Construction and/or (Sub) Contractor installation locations.• Ensures the accomplishment of physical inventories on a timely basis to ensure valid records are continuously maintained and Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of Inventory Control Records (manual and automated).• In charge for conducting Cyclical / Spot Inventories and reconcile any discrepancy found in inventory, and Oversees preparation of shipping documents and registers for materials shipped off temporary operating and jobsite locations. • Provides guidance to Inventory Specialists to ensure that issues are properly controlled and documented in accordance with project procedures and Develop Individual Jobsite Instructions for performance of work within area of responsibility. • Disposes of surplus project materials as approved by project management and directed by Field Procurement Management and Participates in the project materials protection program in conjunction with other responsible groups within the project organization. • Ensured documentation to record unsatisfactory over, short, and damage conditions of material received; ensures that corrective action is expeditiously completed and that formal Unsatisfactory, Over, Short & Damaged Reports are prepared for permanent record. • Prepares Bidders List, Bidder Pre Qualification, Form Bid Packages, Issue Bid Requests, Coordinates bidders’ questions, Receive Bids, Bid Analysis, Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and recommendation letter, Recommends and secures approvals in accordance with established procedures, Forms, Issue and Administer Purchase Orders.Initiates and processes revisions that establish scope and effects on cost and schedule of agreed upon changes. Proficiency and experience in the formation and administration of purchase orders.
