Working as a PID with Saudi Aramco in DHT project which is extension of Rastanura oil refinery in Saudi Arabia. Work involved is as follow.
? Surveillance and Check the welding parameters as per WPS.
? Visual examination as per code and standard.
? Monitoring the welding activities before, during and after welding as per ITP.
? Check the heat input of LTCS material as per approved WPS.
? Check the dimensional accuracy, alignment and orientation of spool as per isometric drawing.
? Inspection of material specification, stock code, colour code, heat numbers, size and schedule as per drawing and applicable codes.
? Inspection of incoming piping spool on site.
? Inspection of Tie-In works.
? Witness the hydrotest of valve of as per API 598 and manufacturer recommendation.
? Witness the hydrotest of pipe spool as per applicable code.
? Witness the receiving of materials such as valve, flanges, pipe fittings etc.
? Witness of penetrant test and magnetic particle test.
? Witness the Radio graphic testing.
? Witness the hardness test as per code.
? Witness the welder qualification test.
? Review of Tie-In packages as per Aramco requirements.
? Review the test package.
? Review the procedure qualification records.
? Review the welder qualification records.
? Review the daily welding report according to drawing and approved WPS.
? Review the NDT reports.
? Ensuring the compliance with QA/QC standards and procedures including maintenance inspection records
