Senior Mechanical Engineer (Rotating)

To apply for a Rotating equipment Engineer position in an oil & Gas operating company.

Fourteen years of experience in the oil and gas industry specializing in the engineering, selection, predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance of all types of rotating equipment. Provide support to operating division in resolution of machinery related problems, troubleshooting, conducting analyses and recommend engineering solutions, preparing component/equipment repair procedures, Liaison with vendors/specialists as required to improve machinery reliability. Carried out technical reviews of rotating equipment modification work ensuring that modifications were implemented in accordance with required standards; liaison with material department and contractors and equipment vendor; supervision of safe and efficient maintenance of plant equipment and personnel in accordance with standards, and safety procedures and company policy. Directed and supervised the activities of rotating machinery technicians in the repair and maintenance of all categories of rotating machinery .Experienced in negotiating with contractors. Experienced in team work in major grass-roots gas gathering and treatment plants with particular emphasis in rotating equipment specification, selection, bid evaluation, engineering follow-up, installation, testing, operation etc. Supervision of contractor’s and vendor’s installation activities which include the development of technical work scope, carry out inspections as required, follow up with field construction to ensure compliance.
