mechanical engineer - Rotating

Seeking for a challenge position.

• Evaluating, and ensure that an effective history record of the main rotating equipment performance and developing technical advancements.
• Failures analyze, problem solving, and providing machinery technical support.
• Review all data related to rotating equipment in project proposals, design drawing, specification for new and upgrade projects.
• Work with vendor technical representative to resolve technical problem.
• Develop the mechanical maintenance policies in regard to the rotating equipment, and providing technical support to projects in scoping, specification, design review, and testing of machinery.
• Verify the design integrity of work carried out by engineering contractors to ensure that the proposed solutions are technically sound and meet reliability, operability, and maintainability requirements.
• Develop the annual and long term budget for the operating and capital requirements of the rotating equipment, and ensuring that effective cost control is implemented. Estimating costs, and managing the budget.
• Focusing on long-term objectives, such as eliminating repeat failures, capital needs, developing machinery turnaround work scope.
• Interface with and manage vendors and/or outside consultant acquisition.
• Initiate the enquiries for repair and overhaul including analyzing the provided prices, turn around time, and technical suitability.
• Liaise with site supervisors and overhaul performance manager to ensure smooth execution of the overhaul/ shutdown program.
• Implement and continually improve the maintenance strategy, and equipment spares analysis.
• Supporting operating facilities in the area of machinery selection revamp and retrofit of existing equipment, identification of needed repairs, and selection of overhaul procedures.
