Designed and specified level, flow, temperature and pressure instruments and controls for all aspects of oil refining and production plants.

Designed hardware and programmed Triconex and Triplex triple redundant PLC plant shut-down systems, Allen Bradley 5.XX and SLC line simplex systems and wrote interface software applications.

DCS (Distributed Control Systems)
Specified, engineered and configured ABB and Fisher Provox, and Yokogawa DCS systems for local plants and oil well RTU data gathering and reporting systems.

Computers (General)
Performed system management for DEC (Digital Equipment Corp.) VMS and PC computer hardware and software. Proficient with operating systems - UNIX, MOTIF, Windows 3.X, Windows NT, 2000, XP and DOS. Programming Languages include BASIC, Visual BASIC, PASCAL. And all Office software

installation. Projects included 10-25 MVA gas and steam turbine generator systems, electrical power distribution (through 69 kV), and protective relaying.
2 years:
Electrical Materials Specialist and contract negotiator for Exxon Production International Projects. This assignment also consisted of specification writing assistance to less experienced Electrical Engineers.
