DCS Panel and field Operator in Alexandria Fiber Company (AFCO) Multinational Petrochemical company. Involved in the industry of poly acrylic
My responsibility is to operate and control all the chemical process area to keep the rate of production as the company target.
Job discription:
1-(Field Operations):
I. Start up and operating all the chemical area (Polymerization Section, Solvent Recovery, Tank Farm and Dope Making).
II. Preparation and applying the flushing procedure of all the plant's systems
III. Good knowledge about :
1- Pumps. Compressor and Valves.
2-Instrumentation.
3-Heat Exchanger.
4- Distillation tower.
5- Filtering System.
6-Water treatment.
IV. Reading (P&ID, PFD, layout and Isometric drawing).
V. Following unloading for raw material as (Acrylonitril, Methylacrylate, Thioglycol) in Tank Farm.
VI. Operate manually the field equipments in case of failure of automated signals from the DCS system.
VII. Check the system periodically for problems such as leakage & outage of equipments and report it to the maintenance department.
VIII. Liaising With support Groups (Mechanical – Electrical - Instrumentation) to confirm Equipment reliability and integrity.
2-( DCS Operations): (YOKOGAWA CENTUM CS3000)
I. Responsible for safe operation of plant, start up, shut down problems and Emergency Shutdown Devices (ESD) comprehensive knowledge in an operating petrochemical facility. Have extensive experience in troubleshooting control systems & ESD encountered, and carry out the trouble shooting of the plant.
II. Monitoring parameters of all the chemical production area.
III. Apply the operating and test procedures in local.
IV. Line-up the system for the Control Room Operator in order to be able to start or shut down & monitor the unit.

2. 01/03/2005 to 30/09/2007: ( pervious job )
(Shift in charge in- El-Pharonia (Abo Sebaa) Weaving Multinational Company.
• Coordinate all Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of Sizing department
• Chemist in sizing production by using (Poly acrylic, PVA and CMC).

Education • Graduated From The Faculty of Science. Special Chemistry, May 2004.

• El-Azher University.
