Responsibilities:
Controls the MED (Multi-Effect Desalination) and maintains the whole operation in good condition through DCS.
Commissioning of MED Plant and loop checking of the whole equipments from piping, pumps, vessel evaporator, fans, motorized valve, check valve, motors, and flow meters.


DCS and Process Operator :

Responsibilities:
Start up, shut down and normal running of process and utility plant in accordance with prescribed operating procedures
Perform all technical works in the production (polymerization) of beta-carotine which includes feeding of raw materials, filtering, drying, and other procedures
Conduct laboratory testing on some raw materials, intermediate, and finish products
Monitoring and controlling plant running parameters using DCS (Distributed Control System)
Maintaining optimum conditions on running plant
Responding to plant upset conditions
Maintaining a plant log
Isolation and preparation of plant for maintenance
Routine minor servicing of plant
Trouble shooting plant problems
Initial response to incidents, including casualty first aid and evacuation



- familiar with simulation software (HYSIS and CHEMCAD)
-familiar with Oil and Gas and LNG processes
-working knowledge of HSE guidelines
-Conversant with International Codes and Standards
