Production Coach
Project core team member on the BP West Azeri Project. Initially based in the McDermott SPS yard Baku through the construction and commissioning phase prior to sail away. My duties included developing Operating Procedures and Instructions, reviewing of Operator Training suite. Liaising with and assisting start-up & commissioning engineers during commissioning phase / hook-up and full involvement in steady state operations Working closely with the Azeri National trainees in developing underpinning knowledge in all aspects of offshore production work from start up and steady state operation, to emergency contingencies, populating training matrix, assisting with biannual performance reviews and reporting trainee progress to production supervisor.

As a member of the CATS production team, which operates the 36” CATS pipeline, my responsibilities included carrying out all operational duties to maintain a cost efficient major production unit, encompassing all aspects of first line maintenance whilst ensuring a high level of safety. Towards the end of 1996, I became a member of the commissioning team that interfaced with the construction team, to aid with the safe and timely start up of the CATS Phase 1 expansion of the NGL Fractionation plant.
