Duties and Responsibilities:
• Receive work schedule from foreman / supervisor and coordinates all activities with operators to trouble shoot and to solve the problem on equipment.
• Perform all preventive, predicative and corrective maintenance on all mechanical and rotary equipment.
• Perform overhauling multi – stage pump, compressors and gearbox.
• Suggests new means of improving the performance and lifetime of the rotary and mechanical equipment.
• Minimizes the down time of all equipment and complete the work within the time frame with planned maintenance and continuous improvement processes.
• Observes all fire and safety regulation, follows safe regulation operating procedures & attendants safety meeting at least once a year.
• Daily routine inspection with plant inspection and monitoring the temperature, vibration of whole rotary equipment.
• Can read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawing to determine work procedures.
• Install, align, dismantle & move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set up and repair of machinery.
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Operate machine tools such as drill machine and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set up of machinery.
• Construct foundation for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundation.
• Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand & power tools and working equipment.
