Was employed as a Mechanical Advisor, Special Projects for Chevron in Angola, previous position.
I worked for PETRO SA which is a GTL plant in Mossel Bay South Africa, and was employed as a Mechanical Technician, and before that was a Lubrications & Fuels Technical Advisor for ENGEN PETROLEUM in South Africa, also a distributor of EXXON MOBIL products.


I have a National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering. (N6)

My qualification as a Mechanical Expert entails a “Red Seal” (Qualified artisan certificate) in both Boilermaking (Sheet metal works) & Mechanical Fitter enabled me to gain practical mechanical experience and excellent supervisory skills.

I have extensive experience in preventative, proactive, predictive & practical maintenance.

Additional experience is day to day maintenance, condition monitoring as well as root cause analysis of equipment failures.

Condition monitoring mechanisms used were hand vibration analyser, laser alignment machines and maintenance basic experience.

Practical maintenance experience included overhauling of various rotating equipments such as valves, pumps, mechanical seals (water, gas & petroleum liquids), process maintenance of water treatment plant equipment and petroleum storage tanks & vessels.

Continuously improvements, practical techniques, implementing and the understanding of essential elements of a good, effective and reliable Health and Safety Management system (PTW, JSA, Basic Observations, Stop work Authorities) are some of my objectives.

Experience in diverse cultures and the ability to manage and educate them with the knowledge I have gained over the years.

My computer literacy includes, SAP R3 4.7, Microsoft Word, Excel 111 & Power Point, MS Projects, E1 Enterprise (JDE).
