1996 TILL END 1998: PETRONAS APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

Hands on experience and knowledge as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Plant Operator
Complete course such as Petrochemical, Instruments, Electrical, safety, Process and Utilities, plant Drawing and introduction to DCS.
Plus- practical activity at Polyethylene (M) Sdn. Bhd. as a field operator.

1999 TILL OCT. 2007: OPERATION TECHNICIAN

Working at Vinyl Chloride (M) Sdn Bhd in area 1. Involve with Catalyst Fluidized Bed Reactor operation in Oxychlorination Section, EDC Purification Section, Waste Matter Treatment Section and HCL Recovery Section.
I’m familiar handling with canned motor pump, centrifugal pump, chemical dosing pump, potables diaphragm pump, submersible pump, exchangers/coolers/heaters , columns, decanters and vessels.

OCT. 2007 TILL NOW: PANEL OPERATOR

Coordinate, instruct, supervise and evaluate analysis the process of VCM Plant especially on Fluidized Bed Reactor by using the Yokogawa Centum CS, Distributed Control System (DCS).
Responsible for ensuring performance of work in accordance with PEMSB Quality Standard System.
Responsible to ensure plants are operated according to the Operating Instruction in order to ensure products are on – specifications.
Ensure total plant reliability for long and safe operating period and longer plant life by identifying problems and conduct troubleshooting. Ensure the production meets marketing requirements by monitoring both the quality and quantity of products.
