Professional Experience
Fifteen years experience as a consulting engineer on mains potable water distribution projects within the UK and EU. This experience covers network modelling, leakage detection, asset management planning, GIS, mains tracing, mains records projects, leakage estimation, mains rehabilitation design, construction management, project management and business development.
My work experience includes companies such as Carl Bro Group (formerly Haiste Group Ltd and now Grontmij) WS Atkins, Warren Assocites (Pipelines) Ltd, Structural Technologies Ltd and RPS Water Services where I have served in capacities ranging from Project Manager to Principal Engineer. The bulk of my work in recent years has been in mains rehabilitation design and justification / asset management planning for South West Water Yorkshire Water, Thames Water and Scottish Water. I was involved for several years in an EU funded technology transfer project Sprint SP 257 on water distribution management in Greece, Spain, Portugal and the former East Germany carrying out training in metering (insertion, magnetic, inferential and displacement), leakage zone design, calculation of per capita consumption, leakage detection technique and leakage analysis in Germany and Greece.

Additional Information
For the past 4 years I have been working for a UK national charity involved with sea rescue as a divisional assessor / trainer, teaching and assessing volunteer rescue crew in navigation, boathandling, search and rescue, sea survival and rescue techniques. I have a very high standard in Microsoft Office and have run training courses in the use of Word, Powerpoint, Access, Outlook and Excel.
