To continue to promote HSE as a benefit as opposed to a burden, on major oil and petrochemical construction projects world wide. To pass on the benfit of my experience on three major projects that achieved world class HSE performance targets.

More than 30 years experience offshore and onshore in the construction and maintenance of major petrochemical projects as well as power generation, iron & steel and aluminum plants.
Experience includes national and international multicultural and multilingual projects in United Kingdom, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and Singapore
Project experience includes safety supervision; safety management; scaffolding control; and management of subcontractors.
Since 2006, assigned at the Shell Houdini Ethylene Cracker Complex (ECC) project at Pulau Ular, Singapore as Deputy HSSE Manager and appointed as HSSE Manager January 2010. Project Highlights to date;
o 39 Million construction exposure hours without LTI since April 2008
o Peak manpower at site 12500 (July, August, September 2009)
o TRIF currently 0.75 based on 1 Million man hours exposure
2004 to 2006 assigned as HSE Manager for Toyo Engineering Corporation on Ethylene Glycol construction project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Project completed two months ahead of schedule and recorded Six Million man-hours from inception (788 days) without a lost time incident.
2002 to 2004 - member of the Project Management Team for Fluor Daniel at the United Olefins Complex Project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, that established a world class safety record of over 48 Million man-hours from inception without a lost time injury
