1) Establishing emergency preparedness plans to deal with possible catastrophes involving hotel operations, such as fires, explosions, spills and releases of hazardous materials, earthquakes and loss of utilities.
2) Evaluating materials and equipment to control any work place hazard.
3) Establishing work rules and communicating information to employees to ensure safe work habits, awareness of hazards and the use of appropriate protection.
4) Assuring that guest accident and employee occupational accident investigations are conducted and reported as required by law and policy.
5) Evaluating the environmental health and safety concerns associated with new modified materials, operations and facilities.
6) Maintaining an inventory of chemicals used in the hotel and obtaining technical data regarding their use, handling and disposal.
7) Developing and maintaining appropriate environmental health and safety program records.
8) Analyzing programs records and results of survey and program reviews and developing a plan to improve he hotel environmental health and safety performance minimizing property losses and prevent hazardous release to the community or environment.
9) Developing working relationships within the hotel that will maintain and attain high-level employee morale.
10) Conducting myself in a manner as to encourage fellow employees to do likewise.
11) Being always efficient, courteous and pleasant and to show at all times a helpful attitude and never to talk in a loud voice to other employees.



12) Being aware of all house rules and policies and not only to obey them, but to cooperate in maintaining them.
13) Routine periodical visual inspection to check if there are any hazards in work place.
14) Attending the monthly held Health & Safety Committee Members Meetings.
15) Reporting each and every possible hazard that might happen to superiors in order to take the necessary measures.
16) Applying tutorials and training about fire fighting procedures for all staff members.
17) Distributing first aid kits all over work place monthly as a conservative measure to assist trained and authorized personnel to give immediate help in case somebody needs it.
18) Assessing risk areas thus providing and checking personal protective equipment according to the assessment.
