Professional Experience
I am a Petroleum Engineer graduated at La Universidad del Zulia in Venezuela. I have worked for 5 years in the oil industry in services companies as production engineer and applications engineer sizing, optimizing and monitoring ESP systems. Among my main duties during my experience I can count these:
- Installing and pulling ESP systems
- Troubleshooting of surface equipments like Variable Speed Drives (VSD) and performing minor repairs
- Starting up ESP systems installed
- Participating in tear down or disassembly of ESP equipments failed
- Sizing and designing artificial lift systems especially Electrical Submersible Pump systems (ESP), Gas lift, Bottom Drive PCP systems (ESP-PCP) and Horizontal pumps for fluid transference
- Coordinating field operations and logistic
- Monitoring ESP (Electrical Submersible Pump) and PCP (Progressive Cavity Pump) wells performance
- Preparing completion diagrams for ESP and PCP wells
- Performing the failure analysis of ESP equipments failed
- Mentoring junior engineers
- Training clients in the use of the ESP technology
- Preparing performance appraisal of Engineers and Field Specialist under my supervision for annual evaluation of the personnel
- Management of client inventory assuring the minimum inventory to support the operation in the most cost-effective manner

- Promoting new technologies and solutions through presentations and meetings with main clients in order to introduce these products in the market
