About Project:

The power plant will be comprised of 4 blocks and will be based on Combined Cycle generation Gas Turbines where extraction steam from the turbines supplies process steam to the desalination plant which itself will comprise 27 units that will use Multiple Effect Distillation technology (MED). Plant designed production capacity is 2,745 MW of power and 800,000 cubic meters per day of desalinated water. The Complete Project is done by three big construction company’s named HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES, SIDEM & GE.

JANA - Jubail Chemical Industries Company situated in the Industrial City of Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia produces a range of Epoxy Resins - Liquid, Solution and Solid forms for a variety of applications. Some of the other products are Caustic Soda, Epichlorohydrin, Calcium Chloride, Hydrochloric Acid, Hypochlorite etc. JANA today has the capability of producing over 60,000 Metric Tons of Epoxy resin per year.

Responsibilities:
•Managing the construction team including Supervisors & Foreman.
•Prioritized scope activities to most efficiently meet project schedule requirements.
•Ensuring implementation and adherence to project specifications and procedures.
•The detailed planning of all stages of construction, including workers, equipment and materials.
•Any contribution to reduction of cost, improvement in efficiency.
•Organize the manpower, equipment and material situation.
•Coordinate QC/QA activities according to site activities and priorities.
•Reviewing all the specification and standards for the project.
•Lifting plan preparation as per Standard Procedure.
•Installation of HP, IP and LP lines with different materials.
•The detailed planning of all stages of construction, including workers, equipment and materials.
•Follow Alloy beveling, fit up, Purging, Welding, RT, UT etc.
•Study and solve the entire site modification problems & raise Technical Queries where necessary.
•Follow up the pneumatic and hydrostatic test preparations and execution
•Follow up the flushing and air blow preparations and execution work.
•Attend day to day meeting with client and various departments.
•Finalize the as built drawings for piping.
