Job profile –Working with a leading Pharma group of Central Africa known as SOCOMEX who has branches in various Central and African countries. Currently based at ANGOLA. I had joined the said company in 1996 at D.R.Congo as a Warehouse Manager and then uplifted to Shop Manger, (Marketing) and as on date totally responsible for looking after whole of ANGOLA market for our company. Having exposures as -
Assistant In-charge of ANGOLA operation – Angola (May 2001 to till date)- when company had planned to diversify into new market to ANGOLA, assigned the responsibilities for whole of country and job handled was right from formation of company, market study, finalisation of warehouse / shop, product registration with local govt, ordering of goods, recruitment of local staff, training, arrangement of various licences from ministry of Health and Commerce for trading and importation, handling of shop and warehouse, marketing at shop as well at institutional level.
Dealing with local govt. authorities, inventory of shop as well warehouse, finance and banking. Reporting includes sales, imports, finance and banking, expenses, marketing feedback and complete day- to-day accounting. Also local govt. tax documents, import clearance documents etc. Reporting to the Director (Africa).
Shop Manager – (April 1998 to 2001) Was uplifted from warehouse and assigned the main outlet (shop) of the company. Responsibilities include handling of local, interior and outside clients. Maintaining of proper inventory of the products, finance and accounting of the shop, launching of new products, handling of govt. authorities at shop, delivery of goods to clients, physical inventory every month and responsible for the whole stock as well as sales of the shop. Reporting includes sales report product-sales, finance, sampling, invoicing, requirements of products etc.
Warehouse Manager (April 1996 to 1998) responsibilities include handling of incoming cargo by sea and air, unloading of the cargo, storage in stacking, transfer of stock from warehouse to shop, maintaining of bin-cards. Reporting includes cargo landing report, shortage and damages reports. Physical inventory every fortnight / monthly and maintaining the stock of the same in computer. Reporting to the General Manager

Qualification : Completed H.S.C. during the year 1991
B.Com with Commerce.

Additional Qualification: Diploma in computer programming. Wordstar, MS- DOS, Basics, Lotus and DBASE

Also passed typing with 30 W.P.M.

Language Known – English, Hindi, Lingala (local language of Congo) and Portuguese.
