SITE SUPERVISOR

Industrial Engineer looking for a position in the field of management, Field engineer , quality, operation analysis, ergonomy, product manufacturing, service industries, safety and environmental management

Site Supervisor Ago 2008 – to present

•Site Supervisor (SDMC Project) at oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico
•To plan and manage the efficient and timely provision of support services and supplies to rig operations and to plan and provide logistical support
•Maintain all required records and documentation for field operations and produce accurate and timely reports on all aspects of field activities
•Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, and manage their efforts so as to maximize their contribution to operational effectiveness and performance
•Ensure that all required engineering support work is completed, well documented and presented in a professional manner.
•Implementation of a continuous improvement process.
•Ensure that all services are delivered safely and in full compliance with and safety policies, procedures and work instructions.
•Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
•Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the field.
•Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
•Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
•Ensured health, safety and other statutory compliance appropriate to the role of Engineering Supervisor.
•Supervision/inspection of the work at subcontractor(s) and/or suppliers facilities to ensure that final products meet delivery and quality requirements of contractual specifications, codes and drawings,
•Anticipating and dealing effectively with potential technical and procedural problems, either using own initiative or after consulting with the Construction Superintendent and\or the Project Manager
•Coordinating supervision activities with Clients site representative(s) and subcontractor(s) management
•Knowledge of project contract and specifications and ensuring that they are followed correctly.
•Reviewing all necessary procedures such as: welding, construction/erection, testing, commissioning, safety etc. to ensure correct approval of these procedures.

Master degree in Engineering Management focus in Environmental Engineering
