WORK EXPERIENCE

April 2006-Sep.2008: JOMIK PETROTECH LIMITED, PORT HARCOURT, NIGERIA
PETROLEUM ENGINEER
• Provided technical support to company consultant, including preparation of reports
• Assisted in the delivery of training courses to clients
• Received training in Well Control

Feb.2005-Mar.2006: ELF PETROLEUM NIGERIA LIMITED
TRAINEE ENGINEER
• Worked with drilling contractor to familiarize with safety rules and rig operations
• Received hands-on training in the use of rig equipment
• Was involved in the maintenance of the rig’s mud pumps

Aug.2004-Feb. 2005: CONOIL PLC, LAGOS STATE, NIGERIA
OPERATIONS ENGINEER
• Inspected Fuel Trucks to ensure that they met the safety standards required for cross-country journeys.
• Assisted the Depot Engineer to prepare work permits for the company’s contractors operating at the depot where I worked.
• Worked as a Safety Officer during loading of Fuel Trucks at the company’s depot.

March 2003-March 2004: NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE CORPS, NIGERIA
• Teaching Experience— served as Mathematics and Physics Teacher

March- August 2001: SHELL PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, PORT HARCOURT, RIVERS STATE, NIGERIA
5-Month Internship
• Was involved in the maintenance of crude oil pumps at a flowstation
• Performed routine operations at the flowstation and wellhead, including collection of samples
• Was solely responsible for gas metering operations at several locations
