SKILLS SUMMARY
· Able to read and modify circuits with blueprints to specifications.
· I/M/R PLC/MCC panels, overhead hoists, and test instrumentation.
· Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
· 15+ years experience, attended four year apprenticeship program.
· Attended Allen Bradley, PLC, AC/DC inverter program training.
· Fluent in English and Spanish, currently possess active passport.

EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

Field Electrician (12/08 – Present)

The Oilfield Connection Inc., Houston, Texas
· Assembly of land and offshore oil rigs, order parts needed, and test equipment prior to start up to ensure proper working condition. Traveled out of state or country when needed to I/M/R equipment on operating rigs. Occasionally quoting and coordinating upgrades, supervising 1 to 2 employees and documentation of all work done to completion. On call 24 hours per customer request.

Field Electrician (09/07 – 09/08)

Louisiana Electric Rig Services Inc., Rosenberg, Texas
· Assigned to various land and offshore oil rigs to I/M/R equipment on SCR houses. Hook up and install power swivels and all electrical equipment on SCR houses from rigs. Test and calibrate instruments on rig in operation to ensure proper drilling. Provided documentation to all work completed on daily basis to field supervisor. Traveled within U.S. and overseas to accommodate location of client.

Maintenance Electrician (06/06 – 09/08)

OMSCO/Vam Drilling Inc., Houston, Texas
· Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipement, and up to 5 or 30 ton bridge cranes. Able to read blueprints and update when necessary. Install program, and troubleshoot AC/DC inverters up to 480 volts. PM’s performed on daily basis and able to order parts when needed. Completed job with little or no supervision on a daily basis.

Freelancing (02/06 – 06/06)
· Accepted jobs from individual home owners for electrical services such as installations of breaker boxes, ceiling fans, and upgrading electrical services, etc. Also able to install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, showers, and commodes.
