Senior Design Project, IIT, Chicago (August 08 – December 08)
Developing a model for dehydration of natural gas under $0.02 for every 1000SCFD. Also focused on the efficiency of every unit operation to establish its core performance and possible substitution to cost effective components.

Zero Energy Lab IPRO-Member, IIT, Chicago (August 08 – December 08) Developed a viable urban wind turbine generator and a solar thermal heat system to enable residential buildings to generate sustainable electricity. Preliminary testing and prototyping was done by installing a wind turbine system under my supervision in order to provide electricity and hot water to the top floor of Machinery Hall building.


CO2 Mitigation IPRO-member, IIT, Chicago ( January 08- May 08)
Responsible for creating a multi-scenario simulation model of CO2 mitigation process, using HYSYS and MatLab, by determining optimal absorber and stripper configuration for the removal of CO2, and the best sequestration technology available, including a detailed economical analysis of capital and operational costs associated with each scenario modeled.

Responsible for developing novel model for improved coal gasification to increase efficiency and to limit CO2 emission. Primary focus of this research is steam generation process, removal of toxic components like mercury with a greater efficiency and a modified combustion turbine.

Research, Center for Electrochemical and Science Engineering, Chicago. Under Prof. Jai Prakash (January 08 - May 08)
Developing prototypes and testing on rechargeable battery systems such as nickel-metal hydride and Lithium-Ion and diagnose studies of AC impedance analysis, and CV measurement during cell cycle.
