Additional Information

Duties

Performing daily inspections and maintenance on electronic equipment. Assuming the required regulatory responsibility to exercise control and efficient operation of the technical and electronic aspects of the vessel, under the direction of the Chief Electrician. Troubleshooting and repair of faulty electronic equipment including dynamic positioning, communication, data acquisition, computers and navigational equipment. Repairing faulty electronic systems in relation to subsea blowout prevention equipment and drilling package instrumentation and electronics. Install, calibrate and modify electronic system Components. Provide technical support, domestic and industrial electronic services to all areas of the drillship. Participate in the effective management of the Planned Maintenance System.
