Surveyor / Hydrographer / Geomatic Engineer

I seek an entry level position in the oil and gas industry that allows me to use my strengths while contributing to the company’s goals and objectives. I am open to relocation and would be interested in working overseas.

Attached as seismic navigator for Geokinetics Geophysical Malaysia in 2C OBC 3D Seismic Acquisition Over C area Offshore Sarawak for Petronas Carigali Pertamina Petrovietnam (PSPP). Jobs involved setting up bathymetry and positioning (DGPS), QA/QC bathymetry data, troubleshooting navigation equipment. Equipment used were include 2C cable (geophone and hydrophone), single beam depth sounder and DGPS. Responsible for maintaining accurate position for deployed underwater seismic receiver position as required by client.As a hydrographic surveyor carrying out a Geophysical survey (2D analogue) totalling 11400 km survey lines in the offshore Sarawak, in prospecting sand areas for the Geological Department of Malaysia Government. Jobs involved setting up bathymetry and geophysical equipment, QA/QC bathymetry data, troubleshooting, and reporting. Equipments used were Reson NaviSound Single Beam Echosounder, GeoAcoustic Sub Bottom Profiler system, EdgeTech side scan sonar systems and proton magnetometer system.
