Additional Information
In my present position I am responsible for managing the major and intermediate overhauls of the refinery, reassuring the plant each time for 2 years, I have successfully delivered two events. The first a major event in 2006, delivered in the planned duration of 4 weeks, at a cost of £10m. The second a intermediate in 2008, delivered in the planned duration of 3 weeks, at a cost of £4.5m, both with excellent safety records.
My position covers all aspects of Project Management, responsible for enquiry packages and selection of main contractor, actively involved in deciding worklist content, saving the company £2m on the last event by rejecting/postponing work. ensuring all designs complete in time to plan and procure equipment, I have also been responsible for writing procedures that cover all phases of a successful shutdown, from the timing of events, through engaging with the main contractor, to establishment of the shutdown accommodation
Prior to my current employment I project managed a fertilizer plant upgrade, covering the project from conceptual planning, through the installation and commissioning phases to the final account, delivering the project on time and within budget.
I have also worked offshore/onshore as the E/I Superintendent for a number of projects, during the construction, commissioning, and hook-up stages of accommodation and process modules.
