preparation team, process/production teams and SHE officers, issuing regular updates on progress at all levels during preps phase, issuing daily reports during events to senior management and head office in Europe
PROCEDURES: - Responsible for writing detailed procedures for the preparation phase, timing of events, P3e/c planning structure, commissioning control, E/I isolation registers and contractor selection
PLANNING: - Influential in changing company planning strategy by introducing P3e/c, saving costs by employing less planners with each event, managing all planners ensuring work packs where planned to site standard, reviewed norms against planned work, carried out checks to schedule, reviewing critical path jobs, ensured validation of all work packs by discipline engineers
TENDERING PROCESS: - Responsible for compiling enquiry package, carried out contractor selection review deciding what main contractor to employ, ensuring specifications where correct for sub-contractors, before placing orders
PROJECTS :- Ensured all discipline engineers where aware of time scale for planning work, and event execution constraints
DESIGN: - Ensured all design packages where complete on time to allow work to be planned and materials purchased, Post event ensured all ¡¥As Built¡¦ drawings complete and stored in site registry
REVIEWS :- Responsible for organising Major Job Reviews, and Job Safety Analysis on unfamiliar jobs, and lifting studies where large cranes where required
BUDGET: - Working closely with the cost engineers, ensuring contract costs were within the budget,
SHE: - Ensured Safety Audit plan was in place, involved with supervision team building communicating the companies safety message, delivered the managers message regarding safety and productivity to all contractors at inductions
COMMISSIONING :- Ensured all jobs where captured on the system commissioning sheets, and all QA documentation handed over to the site registry

In my present position I am responsible for managing the major and intermediate overhauls of the refinery, reassuring the plant each time for 2 years, I have successfully delivered two events. The first a major event in 2006, delivered in the planned duration of 4 weeks, at a cost of £10m. The second a intermediate in 2008, delivered in the planned duration of 3 weeks, at a cost of £4.5m, both with excellent safety records.
My position covers all aspects of Project Management, responsible for enquiry packages and selection of main contractor, actively involved in deciding worklist content, saving the company £2m on the last event by rejecting/postponing work. ensuring all designs complete in time to plan and procure equipment, I have also been responsible for writing procedures that cover all phases of a successful shutdown, from the timing of events, through engaging with the main contractor, to establishment of the shutdown accommodation

Prior to my current employment I project managed a fertilizer plant upgrade, covering the project from conceptual planning, through the installation and commissioning phases to the final account, delivering the project on time and within budget.
I have also worked offshore/onshore as the E/I Superintendent for a number of projects, during the construction, commissioning, and hook-up stages of accommodation and process modules.

I am available to start a new position, at short notice
