• Developed scope of work and detailed functional design specification for process control and ESD system with Allen Bradley PLC to integrate the various operating units over fiber backbone network distributed in 100 SQ KM area with OPC server and ICONCIS HMIs according to the FEED issued by Oxy.
• Evaluated system vendor’s offers and recommend the technically qualified vendor to place order and assist procurement team for inclusions and exclusions to avoid variations from the vendors at later date.
• Selected field instruments, reviewed and verified data sheets, developed MRs, evaluated offers, issued PRs for ESD valves, control valves, Level transmitters –GWR /FMCW/ Ultrasonic/ RF admittance/Displacer/Magnetostrictive, Pressure & DP transmitters, Temperatures transmitters, Orifice assemblies, Instrument cables, Fiber optic cables, BS&W meters, Flow meters – coriolis, wedge, ultrasonic, V-cone, magnetic, TGs & PG & JBs including the construction materials such as cable trays.
• Developed plant fire and gas philosophy and building fire alarm systems and integrated with plant ESD and DCS PLCs
• Acting as focal point for Intools platform to approve the changes done in the project module.
• Open the project baseline deliverables list in Intools and configure the Intools platform for project specific to generate specifications, data sheets, instrument index, I/O summary, wiring and termination and cable schedules.
• Guidance provided to develop I/O list and coordinate with system vendor CIMAC to I/O allocation to system hardware and wiring details review and comment including the Panel GA.
• Developed loop configurations and alarm trip settings and functional logic diagrams to issue to system vendor and review and verify the vendor submittals and follow-with vendor until resubmitting the deliverables to meet the project requirement issue code-A approval
• Reviewed and commented post order field instrument vendors submittals and follow-up with the vendors until the final documents and drawings received as per project specifications and issue code-A approval.
• Reviewed and commented the calculations, area classifications, material of construction
• Guidance provided to engineers to develop MTO for installation materials
• Interdisciplinary coordination

Qualifications:
Bachelor of engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering, from Osmania University- Hyderabad- India, a 4 years regular bachelor degree university course, passed with distinction in the year 1987
