Supervised and managed a crew of core processors and drill rig personnel while conducting daily safety meetings to guarantee a safe working environment. Maintained records of drilling activities and all materials used, for billing purposes. Measured and recorded drill pipe, bits, and casing lengths to ensure proper depth control. Studied and interpreted well logs, analyzed cores and rock cuttings to classify formation changes and areas of concern. Data was utilized in the construction of Yucca Mountain Repository. Complete information was conveyed to the manager on a daily basis and turned over to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for examination when drilling and sampling were completed.
