Chemicaal and process Engineer

I am an enthusiastic, hardworking and achievement oriented man in both independent and team work. I have good communication skills both in English and Tamil and in addition to that I can speak Sinhala to a certain extent.

I am working at Jacobi Carbons (Lanka) Ltd (Activated carbon)for more than four months as Process Engineer ,and i could be able to manage labour power to a certain level . Also could able to manage the Crushing screening Plant to get high efficiency. And also i am having a knowledge of Dryers ,Cyclone seperator,Kilns ,Crushers and Powder mixer like process equipments .And I would like to express that i have a good experience in participating in production meeting and giving my best ideas to get high efficiency according to managerial targets

I worked in Holcim Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, at Puttalam branch as my in plant training for 20 Weeks of period. There, I could really understand about what is process engineering. And I was trained in the department of process engineering, and I could be able to study about how to power audit for a plant, and how to do the heat and mass balances in the process industry. Also I could practise how to take measurements (Temperature, Pressure and air velocity) in the process. And I could experience usage of Altanative fuel and raw material for the process, in Department of AFR (Altanative fuel and raw material). Their only I was able to get some experience in really what are the process problem and how to trace those problem and solve, also I could experience energy management.
And finally I did two projects under following titles
•Improving Blending Efficiency of Raw mill.
•Specific Power Reduction of Coal mill plant

I have a working experience in Fabrication of machine section over three months of period in Loadstar Pvt (Ltd) at Ekkale Branch as my industrial training. Their I was able to be experience Labour control, Understanding of mechanical drawings and how to overcome some difficult concept at fabrication site out of mechanical drawing. And also I could study how to understand the function of a machine without any help from others. I could have some idea about Hydraulics system and Pneumatic system in the fabrication

3.I had been an active participant in societies in The University of Peradeniya
4.Member: “Sangeetha Natiya Sangam” (Music Society) - 2006-2007 and conducted several successful programmes and competitions in Colombo, Kandy and Hatton, University of Peradeniya
