Site Safety Advisor 2008-2009
Kiewit Energy; Fort McMurray, AB
• Involved with project management on a day to day basis to liaise and coordinate EHS management.
• Conducted Training and leadership to all employees on site.
• Conducted Incident investigations on a regular basis.
• Worked with the Workers Compensation Board on a regular basis to monitor and control time loss injuries on the work site.
• Controlled all site Job Hazard Analysis and documentation concerning EHS.
• Coordinated all High Angle Confined Space Rescue for a twelve man Rescue Team.
• Involved in Inspections and Audits on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Decision making for the health and safety of all sites personal.
• Twelve hour rotations three weeks on one week off. Day and night shifts independently and along side safety team.
• Was responsible for acting as a resource to Management and line personal on a daily basis in maintaining compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
Time Loss Management Advisor (contract) 2008-2008

• Involved in a management position, supervising sixty men in a drilling camp operation.

• Duties included company orientation for Petro-Canada, conducted weekly reports on all hazards, incidents, concerns, medical aid, and first aid treatment.

• Conducted weekly safety meetings at the camp for all employees, attended a weekly meeting with lead petro-Canada site safety advisors on general site safety concerns and held daily tool box meetings with all drilling rig crews.

• Was responsible for all road conditions on site, enforced speeding, horseplay, and improper driving to all employees.

• Worked with project management team, which included Engineers, Rig managers, Construction supervisors, and lead Petro-Canada personal.

• Performed Rig inspections daily.

• Handled daily stress that comes with a management position, met deadlines, and performed well under pressure.

Floor hand/Motorman 2002-2005
Precision Drilling, Ensign Drilling; Edmonton, AB

 Operated various equipment, machinery, heavy equipment
 Successfully involved in drilling well completions.
