Petrol Mechanic Hydraulic Maintenance Parts Sales Assessment and quotations

I have performed all tasks associated with motor vehicle maintenance, which included:
Stripping of engines & replacement of parts;
Stripping of differentials & replacement of parts;
Stripping of gearboxes and replacement of parts;
Checking & tightening & replacement of wheel bearings;
Servicing of vehicles, including replacing oil and/or additive & filter & routine maintenance;
Checking & routine maintenance of vehicle brake systems, including bleeding & replacement of brake fluid;
Checking and maintenance of radiator, including flushing & replacing water and additive;
Inspection & replacement of air-filter;
Battery & electrical systems maintenance;
Checking & tuning of timing;
Replacement of plugs & points;
Axle overhauls;
Wheel alignments;
Replacement of universal joints;
Maintenance and/or replacement of exhaust system;
Inspection of motor vehicle for any rust;
Inspection of motor vehicle for roadworthy purposes and issue of roadworthy certificates, where applicable.


The workshop was a well equipped, with modern, up to date and well run business. The workshop had all the latest equipment and tools to be able to carry out any or all tasks associated with the maintenance of motor vehicles. The tools and equipment included:

2 pits & hoists for maintenance under the vehicle;
Utensils for dispensing oil and/or catching old oil;
Oil pump for differentials;
Grease guns;
Air tools;
Air compressors;
Torque wrenches;
Lifting jacks;
Diagnostic equipment;
Wheel alignment machine;
Cranes & tackle;
Off hand grinders;
Drilling machines;
Equipment for degreasing engines;

Full range Metric spanners;
Special purposes tools;
Bench grinders;

Any other instrument or tool used by a skilled mechanic in pursuit of his trade.

The parts replaced on the motor vehicles were obtained from manufacturers’ outlets in various parts of South Africa.

The workshop was particularly well stocked with manuals and part schedules necessary to maintain the motor vehicles to the manufacturer’s standards
