Duties and Responsibilities:
• Preparation, Installation, Erection and Modification of Pipes.
• Preparation, Installation and Modification of Pipe supports.
• Knowledgeable in Isometric Drawing & Line-checking.
• Knowledgeable and familiar in handling different kinds of materials (Valves, Gaskets, Bolts and Supports) and other materials use in piping work.
• Handles and monitors all documents from Project sites and distribute to concern Section/Department.
• Cut, threaded, and hammered pipe to specifications, using tools such as grinder, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders.
• Assembled and secured pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints.
• Measured and marked pipes for cutting and threading.
• Laid out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints.
• Planned pipe system layout, installation, and repair according to specifications.
• Selected pipe sizes and types and related materials, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications.
• Cut and bored holes in structures, such as bulkheads, decks, walls, and mains, prior to pipe installation, using hand and power tools.
• Modified, cleaned, and maintained pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools.

Qualifications:
• Knowledgeable in principles, methods and techniques used in the pipefitting trade.
• Profound knowledge of tools and equipment of the trade and skill in their safe use.
• Deep knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
• Strong ability to plan and perform work involving the installation, modification and repair of new and existing piping systems.
• Possesses good interpersonal relationship
• Possesses good oral and written communication
• Computer Literate
