• Direct project supervision & monitoring of subcontractors works for the erection of pipe rack, structure, shelter, equipment platform, pipe support, miscellaneous platform and successfully achieved the targeted milestone on schedule.
• Ensure that all subcontractors resources are properly utilized in their work execution to achieved maximum progress on steel erection.
• Responsible for the evaluation of Technical Queries raised by subcontractor with corresponding shop drawings ,sketches due to interference on site and deviation in the issued for construction drawings against actual site condition occurred.
• Review drawings, specifications and procedures / method statements before commencement of work and inspection activities. Confirm drawings, specifications and procedures are in the latest revision.
• Verify if there are any fabrication mistakes encountered during erection, if any, discuss and propose with the field engineering the modification to be applied.
• Review and sign all the permit required, conduct tool box talk to the group prior to start of any job.
• Perform Job Hazard analysis on the working area and immediately rectify any un safe condition that may arise on working site.
• Monitor and control of construction equipment, tools, materials and work schedule of sub contractors on daily and weekly basis.
• Responsible for the preparation & submission of all reports to the Section Manager such as Weekly progress Reports, Two Weeks Look ahead & other internal documents as required by the Section Head.
• Maintain harmonious relations with the subcontractor superintendent/engineers/supervisors by establishing /discussing forecasted construction targets on weekly & monthly targets & ensure that critical activities are completed on as per schedule.
• With full awareness on the Safety and work procedures for the work execution and review methods statement submitted by the subcontractors for every work items that requires all related work procedures.
