Control Engineer

To work in a healthy and challenging engineering environment where I could learn and polish my engineering skills and later on I could apply them to industry.

• 6 weeks internship in Wateen Telecom Pvt Ltd. in SDS department Islamabad worked on WiMAX, Fiber Optics, VSAT and DVB-RCS networks.
Learning comprised of configuration, installation, and troubleshooting and RF optimization of WiMAX and optical networks.

• Presently working (since Feb 10, 2009) as an intern in a research project funded by www.ictrdf.org.pk on a project of APIBS (automatic personal identification biometrics system for large scale applications)
Job responsibilities are research in algorithm development of fingerprint acquisition, matching, verification and analysis by applying different research techniques.

 The areas of interest are:
Industrial electronics control systems and embedded systems, making industrial process more automated and efficient as per new standards, Image processing, Mobile Communication (PCM30.CELLS, CLUSTERS, BTS), Satellite Communication, including the future works in communications i-e Next generation of mobiles 3G,4G CDMA Technologies , smart antenna designing etc.).
