Production Engineer
FPI is one of the global leading manufacturers of composite (Fiber Glass) pipes.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing Day-to-Day activities in production.
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls across the production section
• Participate to the implementation of a management information system – define specification, drive the implantation and educate supervisors.
• Forecasting requirements (raw material, consumable items…etc) based on historical information, sales trends and production output.
• Study and document manufacturing procedures and updating existing ones, with an aim for continuous improvement.
• Coordinating with Sales/Projects/Technical/Planning/QC departments on process, quality, and requirements to achieve maximum machine utilization, to solve any possible pending issue, and to achieve quality end product ready to deliver.
• Calculation of recipes, designs, and all special orders.
• Generate weekly report and present it to the Plant and General Manager
Accomplishments:
• Decrease in operation cost ( Labor Supply, New Machinery, Tight control on Consumable Items, preventive maintenance)
• Implementation of House Keeping policies
• Exceed General Manufacturing Operation KPI Target
• Involved in the expansion of the plant (additional two VLDP unites were installed)
