Network Analyst

•Network Operating Systems – Microsoft NT4, Windows 2000/2003 (ActiveDirectory), Linux/UNIX – Installation, Resource Management, Administration and Deployment.
•Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environment in Computer hardware, systems software, applications software and all configurations
•Setup and Management of Cisco routers, Switches Manage /Troubleshoot/Maintain: Cisco
Catalyst switched network environments utilizing spanning tree, and associated network switching
protocols, IP assignment for remote Administration
•Installation and Support of Network infrastructure Switches, Routers, and Cabling
•Setup and support of Wireless LAN (802.11WLAN)
•Network Installation, Setup and Administration on Windows 2000/2003 Server platform
•Create & Manage Group policy objects, Security Groups and Users in Active Directory 2000/2003
•Build, Monitor and update Servers with current security patches/updates
•Support Mailbox Accounts on Exchange Server 2000/2003(Backoffice) and Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (Front-end)
•Schedule In-house and Offsite Backup/Restore using Legato Networker on UNIX /Windows platform
•Print/File Server Administration – Manage Shared File Access and other related Network Resources
•Network printer, Digital sender setup and administration
•Manage user accounts and other Helpdesk related issues
•Provide Network/Desktop support via telephone, remote control and onsite visit to users. (First line support) - Incident & problem Mgt.
•Log Users distress calls and resolution notes using Action Request(ARS)System
•Setup & Configure Rack mounted HP/Compaq Servers and configuration of additional External
storage arrays (Storage libraries), UPS’s e.t.c.
•Monitor network performance using ipswitch WhatsUp Gold to determine where adjustments need to be made, and determine changes which will need to be made in future
•Fiber Cable splicing and termination for connectivity between CNL Campuses
