Production Geophysicist Engineer

To contribute with the company high performance applying knowledge and skills on areas of quantitative reservoir characterization and seismic visualization, facing new challenges in areas of petroleum exploration and production.

Since 2004, as Production Geophysicist Engineer at the Department of Integrated Studies of Reservoir. PDVSA E&P Western Division, responsable for:

.- Supervising modelling, adquisition, processing and interpretation of 3 VSP 3D multicomponet at 2008 (Baker Hughes and Schlumberger companies) and other well seismic data. WAVSP and AVO analysis.

.- Seismic Inversion projets using of IFP, Hampson Russell and Schlumberger software.

.- Seismic Facies generation and multi attributes analysis using specialized applications.

.- Loading and visualization of well seismic data, 2D and 3D seismic data. Post-Stack Reprocessing. Calibration and estimation of seismic resolution using well logs information. Well-Seismic Calibration. Velocity Model, lateral analysis and Time-Depth conversion.

.- Seismic Interpretation and 3D Structural Modelling building and accomplishment into three fields with actual production of 180.000 BNPD. Use of stochastically methods for obtaining pseudo-properties maps. Geomechanical analysis. Geophysical support of 28 proposes locations (exploitation plan 2005-2008, 2009-2012). Supervising development and advance wells drilling locations.
