Hazardous Material Supervisor/ Safety Coordinator with extensive experience in management of hazardous waste and material, safety and environmental issues for the U.S. Marine Corps, Kellogg Brown and Root, and The Scripps Research Institute.

• Physical inventorying of hazardous chemicals in scientific laboratories; radiation surveying, safety, and waste handling; chemical waste handling; chemical hazard classification; emergency response.

• Management of 8 Hazardous Material permanent sites which are regularly inspected by the EPA, San Diego County, Hazardous Material Management Division, California Department of Toxic Substance Control, Air Pollution Control District and Federal OSHA for Safety - no Notice of Violations (NOV) during the last 3.5 years, with consistently “outstanding” inspection results.
• Thirteen years assignment to Hazardous Material, Waste, Environmental Compliance and Safety duties, including: Asbestos Program Manager; Environmental Compliance Inspector; and Certified Hazardous Materials Instructor.
• Highly knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of hazardous waste material handling, packaging, labeling, storage, transportation and disposal.
• Environmental Baseline Surveys conducted for potential environmental impacts for Base closers in Iraq.
