Working as a Executive Engineer BU Switchboards – Engineering and Production at Siemens Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd .
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• To plan the wiring work of customer order according to the completion of mechanical structure and copper work.
• Supervise the wiring work of customer order according to the standard drawings and specs of Siemens Switchboard – Engineering & Design.
• QA/QC of customer order.
• On time delivery of different export and import customer orders.
• To issue and clear the production order time card of wiremen.
January 2007 – December 2008
Worked as a Trainee Electrical Engineer in the electrical section of projects and maintenance department of Pakistan Refinery Limited Karachi.
PROJECT WORKS
• Designed the electrical layouts / sketches, prepared the cost estimation / evaluation reports and bill of quantities of New Housing Colony and New Finance Building projects at Pakistan Refinery Ltd.
• Commissioning / completion of New Finance Building of Pakistan Refinery Ltd.
• Modification of control supply according to the drawings of a DAWSON & KEITH 630 KVA Diesel Generator for its auto/manual/test start up.
• Commissioning of ABB VFD and switchgear for a WEG Black Oil motor at tank farm pumping facility.
• Commissioning of ALLEN BRADLEY soft starter for 3.3 KV Gas Compressor.
• Modified / provided a separate control supply scheme according to the drawings for refinery vital load.
• Installation / Commissioning / testing of four outgoing and one incoming VCB feeders of AREEVA at keamari oil terminal of Pakistan Refinery Ltd .
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• The job also involves the successful provision of Bulk supply – 1 and Bulk supply – 2 from KESC.
• Plan , execute and supervise routine , preventive and shutdown maintenance of plant equipments as per technical drawings and international codes and standards .
• Implement and maintain permit to work system.
• Maintaining log book of daily routine works/repairs/replacements in their history cards.
• Preparation and execution of 3 – monthly, 6 – monthly and yearly preventive maintenance plans.
• Generate weekly reports for performance evaluation.
