PERSONNEL PROFILE:Mr. Emeka D. Onwukwe
He has since worked in the steel, brewery and oil / gas industries in various engineering capacities ranging from discipline engineer to project manager. His specialisation is mainly in instrumentation and control engineering but escorting into industrial electric power and mechanical piping for oil and gas facilities. He has led multi-discipline engineering design and field installation teams in the executing both EPC and upgrade projects in oil and gas facilities onshore, swamp and offshore Nigeria, both in brownfield and greenfield environments.
Experienced in the preparation and application of design / engineering AFC drawings / documentation, team engineering reviews, HAZOP studies, safeguarding / fiscal systems, engineering standards / codes and compilation of project tender packages, the vocation in instrumentation and control engineering systems has taken him through various technical trainings and work attachments to multi-national overseas engineering design and construction companies.
These include: Work with instrumentation / control engineering team (Mustang Engineering, Houston, 2005) and FAT (Imtech-Vonk’s, Netherlands, 2002).
He has functional cross disciplinary experience that has enhanced his ability to adapt to interdisciplinary engineering interfaces situations.
He has worked as a training resource person for Introduction To And Maintanance Of Foundation Fieldbus Systems (for Shell Nigeria staff) and Oilfield Safety, Instrumentation and Utilities course,(for M. Sc. students of Institute Of Petroleum Studies, University Of Port Harcourt, Nigeria) annualy since 2005.
He has been working as Engineering Manager of an oil services engineering company in Nigeria, cordinating and supervising all engineering / design activities.
Mr. Onwukwe is an organized worker, careful with details, focused, self-motivated for results and routinely spending extra work hours to ensure delivery on time.
Mr. Onwukwe is a trained Quality Management Systems auditor and is a member of various engineering bodies in Nigeria, including COREN (Council For The Regulation Of Engineering In Nigeria) and NSE (Nigerian Society Of Engineers).
He has a renewable UK HSMP (Highly Skilled Migrant Program) work permit as well as an international drivers’ license (from Texas, USA).
