The purpose of this letter is to enquire about an opportunity to utilize my skills,expertise and knowledge in the service of your company.I am a senior mechanical engineer holding a degree from the prestigious Simon Bolivar University in Venezuela

I have 20 years of experience in engineering and construction leading and working in teams. I am fortunate to have worked for some of the largest and most important oil and gas projects around the world.

Most recently, I have been achieving strong results in my capacity as Project engineer. I was responsible for piping engineering, design services, execution of conceptual design, project specifications, basic engineering. In addition, I was overseeing the technical integrity of all piping activities including preparation of documents to be included in front-end packages.

My international experiences have engrained in me a deep respect and admiration for different cultures in a working, and personal environment and given me strong interpersonal and communication skills.My experiences on different projects have left me with a flexible, proactive and professional attitude coupled with extraordinary analytical planning and problem solving skills.I am committed to safe work behavior and protection of the environment. From a technical point of view,I have PDS review experience,PMC experience and a solid knowledge of applicable codes,standards and recommended practices for piping (ASME, API,etc.)Lastly,I have the ability to work within and support a process oriented organization.

My experience includes:
Engineering Area: Lead Piping Engineer, Project Engineer and Piping Engineer in coordination, revision and preparation of: Piping Material Specification, P&ID’s,Overall Plot Plan, Equipment Layouts, Key Plan, Piping Layouts, Isometrics,Line List,Piping Stress Analysis, Field Survey, Tie-In Isometrics, Material Take-off, Bill of Materials.Coordination of 40% and 80% Design Review Meetings with the client, checking of FEED, planning, coordination, direction of all activities in detail engineering.

Construction Area: Construction Manager, Mechanical Superintendent, Piping and Mechanical Supervisor, Field Engineer on coordination, supervision and execution of: equipments erection (furnaces, reformers, flares, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.), piping erection, hydrostatics and pneumatics test, flushing, reinstallation,supervision of tie-ins execution( cold & hot-tapping), support to commissioning, elaboration of “as-built” drawings, site -instructions, punch list,etc
